Artist: John W. Hauser
Biography: John Hauser's many accomplishments in the automotive world include- being the youngest car designer ever hired at General Motors at only 19 years old, receiving the Industrial Designers Institute Award for his design of the Hough Payloader, serving many clients such as United States Steel, American Iron and Steel Institute, Sears, Roebuck & Co., Philco, the Federal Aviation Agency, National Brush Co. and many more. He also served five years as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Delnor Hospital and is a fellow of the Industrial Designers Society of America.
